How PixAttic collects, uses and protects your information.
Last updated: October 28, 2026
PixAttic ("we", "us") operates pixattic.com, a free library of AI image prompts with tested example images. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use the site, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have. By using PixAttic you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information we collect
Account information. When you create an account we store your email address and the display name you choose. Your password is stored only as a salted cryptographic hash — we cannot read it. If you sign in with Google, Google sends us your name, email address and a Google account identifier so we can create and recognise your account. We never receive or store your Google password.
Your activity on PixAttic. We store the prompts you save to your collection, the prompts you submit for review (including title, prompt text, category and any source link you provide), and basic timestamps for those actions.
Automatically collected information. Like most websites, our servers and delivery network record your IP address, browser type and user agent, pages visited, referring page and approximate country. We use this for security, rate limiting and aggregate statistics about which content is useful. These statistics are not linked to your identity.
Cookies. PixAttic sets a single essential session cookie that keeps you signed in. We do not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Google user data
If you choose to sign in with Google, PixAttic accesses only your name, email address and Google account identifier. We use this Google user data solely to create and operate your PixAttic account and to provide the sign-in feature — nothing else. We do not use Google user data for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not transfer it to third parties except as necessary to operate the service or comply with the law. PixAttic's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
2. How we use information
- To operate your account, show your collection and keep you signed in;
- To review, edit, categorise and publish prompts you submit;
- To protect the service against abuse, spam and attacks;
- To understand, in aggregate, which pages and prompts are useful so we can improve the library;
- To reply to your emails and handle removal or account requests.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not use your data for third-party advertising profiles.
3. Sharing
We share data only with the processors needed to run the service: Cloudflare (content delivery and security) and Google (sign-in), each under its own privacy terms, and our hosting provider for storage and delivery. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of PixAttic and its users.
4. International processing
Our servers are located in Japan and content is delivered through a global network, so your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on the safeguards offered by our processors.
5. Retention and deletion
Account data is kept while your account is active. Prompts you submit that are published remain part of the library, with attribution, unless you ask us to remove them. Security logs are kept for a short period. You may email qingwayingshi@gmail.com at any time to delete your account and associated personal data; deletion is completed within 30 days.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. Contact us at qingwayingshi@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days.
7. Children
PixAttic is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has given us data, contact us and we will delete it.
8. Security
All traffic uses HTTPS. Passwords are stored as salted PBKDF2 hashes, account data is access-controlled, and session cookies are HttpOnly. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify affected users of a breach where required.
9. Third-party links
Prompt entries may link to source pages and creators on other websites. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their practices.
10. Changes to this policy
We will post any changes on this page and update the date above. Material changes will be announced on the site. Continued use after a change takes effect means you accept the updated policy.
