Respect Your Ancestors

A whimsical painterly scene with a perfect comic beat: in the foreground a small, magnificently proud rooster stands ramrod straight on a warm rock, chest puffed, scarlet comb held high, tail feathers fanned in iridescent greens and coppers, one eye fixed upward in defiant respect; looming above him, descending from the top of the frame on a long feathered neck, is his ancestor, a towering feathered dinosaur the size of a house, its huge head lowered to rooster height, one enormous amber eye blinking down with ancient, mild curiosity, its plumage echoing the rooster's own colours in grander scale, russet, teal and gold. Foreground: scattered pebbles, a few fallen feathers, tufts of dry grass. Midground: the rock terrace and the dinosaur's three-toed foot resting gently beside a fern. Background: a golden prehistoric valley, layered cliffs, a slow river, pterosaurs as tiny silhouettes in a honeyed sky. Composition is a tall storybook frame from a low viewpoint, the tiny bird centred and heroic, negative space of sky giving the giant head room to descend. Light is warm late-afternoon sun, rimming both birds' feathers, soft haze between the valley layers. Materials are richly painted: individual barbs on feathers, dusty rock texture, leathery dinosaur skin beneath the plumage. Style anchors: Midjourney storybook realism, gentle evolutionary humour, cinematic warmth. Ultra-detailed painterly finish, no text, no watermark anywhere. The joke stays gentle and warm throughout: no menace in the giant's eye, only the patient amusement of an elder meeting a very small, very serious descendant for the first time.
