Nine Faces of the Northern Court

A 3x3 character portrait grid presenting nine original fictional northern-court fantasy characters in 2D flat illustration with clean line art and a modern comic style, every portrait in profile view facing right inside its own white rounded-rectangle frame on a light gray textured background, with a short invented name label in clean lettering beneath each frame. Top row: a stern warden with black hair worn half-up, a short beard and a dark fur cloak; a silver-haired queen with an elaborate braid and a deep blue gown; a clever court advisor with curly brown hair, a neat beard and a dark tunic fastened by a gold pin. Middle row: a regal dowager with blonde braided hair and an ornate crimson-and-gold dress; an older lord with brown half-up hair, a grey-streaked beard and a heavy fur cloak; a young adult scout with short dark hair, a brown tunic and a sword hilt over one shoulder. Bottom row: a golden knight with short blonde hair and polished gold armor bearing a stag motif; a red-haired lady with a long braid, a blue dress and a fur collar; a brooding sailor prince with short dark curls and a dark tunic with a wave pin. Every face shares the style signature of pale skin with a soft blush on the cheek, simplified elegant features and confident clean contours, bust framing identical across all nine cells so the sheet reads as one designed set. The presentation is flat and graphic, straight-on, with flat color blocks, minimal cel shading and a faint paper grain in the gray ground. Materials are drawn: fur tufts as layered shapes, braid segments, matte wool, brushed gold. The style anchors are character-design sheets, flat editorial illustration and indie comic covers, ultra-clean, cohesive and charming, print-ready.
