Hazel the Witch Librarian — Cozy Fantasy Anime Character

Original anime character illustration of Hazel, an adult witch librarian in her early thirties, working in a towering magical library. Hazel has soft auburn curls piled under a small pointed witch hat with a bent tip, round spectacles, warm green eyes, freckles, and wears a knitted mustard cardigan over a cream blouse with a long plum wool skirt and a belt of small brass keys. She stands on a rolling wooden ladder reaching to shelve a thick book whose pages glow softly gold, her hands correct on the book spine, while her grey cat watches from a lower rung with dignified patience. Around them bookshelves rise in layered tiers into warm shadow, packed with leather bound volumes whose spines carry only abstract embossed patterns without letters, floating light motes drifting like dust in the lamplight, a spiral stair curling away in the background. Composition is a vertical gentle low angle shot, Hazel and the ladder centered, shelves monumental around her, glowing motes filling the upper air. Lighting is warm and golden, reading lamps pooling light on wood and leather, soft shadows between the stacks. Materials are tactile: knitted wool, worn leather bindings, brass rails, polished wood, cat fur. Style anchors are cozy fantasy anime key visuals, painterly cel shading with luminous atmosphere, completely original character and library design, no franchise elements, no readable text anywhere, all book spines and pages deliberately free of letters. High quality anime illustration, warm, intricate in library detail, bookish charm. Background art is painted with the same care as the characters, layered planes of scenery receding with atmospheric perspective and soft color shifts. Line work is clean and confident, with varied weight that thickens on silhouettes and thins on delicate interior details. The color script is harmonious and expressive, saturated accents balanced against calm neutrals so the focal character always reads first.
